More volume than a 20 without much more length on the ground.
Clean loads of one material may be handled differently. Worth asking.
A middle ground for jobs that would overflow a 10 but not need a 20.

Low walls make for easy tossing, and the footprint suits a short driveway.
Framing offcuts, drywall, trim and packaging from a build or remodel.
Room for furniture and household goods once keepsakes are set aside.
A steel open-top container set down at your address, then hauled away full.

Most projects in Alta Sierra do not call for the biggest box on the lot. A shed clear-out or a bathroom redo often fits a 10 yard, and a smaller container is easier to place on a community driveway too.
Not sure? Tell the provider what is coming out of the Alta Sierra house and roughly how many pickup loads you picture. Yards are hard to imagine, and pickup loads are not.
How the line works for Alta Sierra callers, and what stays with the provider.
Describe what is going in rather than guessing yards. Roofing, concrete and household clutter all load very differently.
Ask about 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yard containers. Not every provider stocks every size, so have a second choice in mind.
Containers and portable restrooms are often sold by separate companies. Start with a single call and ask about both.
Included weight, per-ton overage, rental days and extension costs. Knowing these four before delivery heads off most billing surprises.
You deal with a hauler serving your area, where one covers your address. Their rates and rules are the ones that apply.
A few things worth knowing before a truck heads to Alta Sierra.
Public events and many job sites call for accessible units. Federal standards generally ask that part of a cluster, and at least one unit, be accessible. Your Alta Sierra event permit or site contract may spell out exactly how many you need.
Sometimes. It depends on whether a provider serving Alta Sierra has a container open and a truck with room on its route. Your odds improve if you call early in the day and stay flexible on size. Nobody can promise it for every address.
If food is being served, your Alta Sierra or county health department may require them, and they are a sensible addition for any big crowd. Placing a sink near the restrooms and another near food lines keeps people from having to walk far.
On job sites, weekly visits are a common starting point, with more added for larger crews. For a one-day Alta Sierra event, units are often just placed clean and pumped at pickup. Agree on the schedule when you book, so it matches actual use.
On private property, usually not. On a street, sidewalk or other public right of way, many towns do require one, and the rules differ across CA. Check with the Alta Sierra public works or permit office before the drop-off date.
Most fit, but the truck is the harder part. It commonly needs a long straight run to back in, plus height to tilt the bed clear of wires and branches. Measure your Alta Sierra driveway and mention any tight turns, soft ground or low limbs.
